Meiningers Weinwelt, Heft 2

Kirchenstück vs. Pechstein. Review of our 2013 Kirchenstück Riesling Spätlese Cyriakus with 91 points: "the Playful: nose a little uneasy, after airing only delicately floral (white flowers), then whopping light up yellow fruit (classic peach ...) with citrus notes (orange zest, passion fruit ...); exciting the palate, juicy, while grippy with sweetness / acidity play and yet of quiet elegance"

Review of our 2013 Pechstein Riesling Spätlese with 92 points:
"discrete but very fine, complex, fruity and spicy nose (black, currant leaves, pink grapefruit ...); a tangy type with smoky minerality, closely, straightforward" (P.96 - 99)

Wine Spectator, USA

We are delighted with the top rated assessment from Wine Spectator 2015!
"German Rieslings are notable for their impressive structures and the purity of their fruit flavors. The following list is comprised of kabinette, which feature light bodies and low alcohol levels. These are some of the first wines picked from top German vineyards in leading regions such as Nahe, Pfalz and Rheingau, all of which are represented below. These examples are fresh to sip on their own, but can also be matched with pork and poultry dishes. The 2013 vintage offers high quality, characterized by powerful, racy wines. These kabinette also provide an impressive quality-to-price ratio. If you've never tried German Riesling, consider these bottlings your tour guide to what this versatile variety can offer. [...]
EUGEN MÜLLER Riesling Kabinett Pfalz Forster Mariengarten 2013 Score: 90 | $19
A vibrant minerality complements the finely focused flavors of peach, dried apricot and lemon curd. Fresh acidity gives this good cut. Notes of wet granite appear on the finish. Drink now through 2018. 260 cases imported. K.M."

The Feinschmecker: The best winegrowers & wines in 2015

Great two FF again in the Feinschmecker and a top rated assessment for our Riesling wines!
"Good vineyards have Kurt Müller and his son Stephan richly, also the best wines in 2013 are from Forster vineyards. Of course there are Riesling wines which have announced the family business and which give without limitation pleasure also in the actual collection. Already the Gutsriesling offers juicy format, the Kabinett wines from Jesuitengarten and Pechstein always show mineral nuances beside the crystal clear and clean fruit, the fine-aromatic multi-complex Spaetlesen are brought by a refreshing animating acid on trot. Especially well has liked to us the almost silky, nevertheless complex Riesling Auslese from the Forster Kirchenstück..."
